PranaChain Terms of Service

1. Definitions

Platform

The PranaChain blockchain infrastructure, website, mobile applications, APIs, and associated services.

PRANA Token (PRN)

The native utility token used within the PranaChain ecosystem.

User

Any individual or organization accessing or using the Services.

Content

Any information, files, data, text, images, software, or materials submitted or displayed on the Platform.

Health Data

Medical records, prescriptions, lab reports, diagnostic information, or other healthcare-related information submitted to the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Services only if:

you are at least 18 years old
you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
your use complies with applicable laws and regulations

Certain features involving digital assets or token transactions may be restricted in certain jurisdictions. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

3. Account Registration and Security

To access certain features of the Services, you may be required to create an account.

You agree to:

provide accurate and complete information
maintain confidentiality of login credentials
promptly update any account information
notify us immediately of unauthorized activity

Digital Wallet Responsibility

Certain platform features may require the use of a blockchain wallet. Users are solely responsible for:

securing their private keys
maintaining wallet access credentials
protecting digital assets stored

PranaChain cannot recover lost private keys or digital assets. You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account.

5. PRANA Token (PRN)

5.1 Utility Token

PRN is a utility token designed to facilitate operations within the PranaChain ecosystem including:

accessing platform services

managing health data permissions

paying platform transaction fees

staking and reward mechanisms

governance participation

5.2 Not a Security

PRN tokens:

are not securities
do not represent ownership or equity in PranaChain
do not entitle holders to revenue or dividends

Users should not acquire PRN tokens with an expectation of profit.

5.3 Token Risks

Blockchain systems and digital assets involve risks including:

price volatility

regulatory changes

technical vulnerabilities

loss of private keys

hacking or security breaches

Users accept full responsibility for these risks when acquiring or using PRN tokens.

6. Health Data and Medical Information

6.1 Ownership of Health Data

Users retain ownership of their health data and control access permissions through the platform's consent management system.

6.2 Data Storage Architecture

Health records are not stored directly on the blockchain.

Medical records are stored in secure encrypted off-chain storage systems, while the blockchain records only:

cryptographic hashes consent permissions verification records audit logs

This architecture ensures both data integrity and user privacy.

6.3 User Responsibility

Users are responsible for:

ensuring accuracy of uploaded health data
managing access permissions
reviewing authorized access requests

PranaChain does not verify the medical accuracy of uploaded information.

Medical Disclaimer

PranaChain does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The Services are intended only to facilitate secure storage and controlled sharing of healthcare records. Users should consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical decisions. PranaChain shall not be liable for any medical decisions based on information stored or accessed through the Platform.

8. Consent-Based Data Sharing

Users may grant or revoke permission for authorized parties to access their health data. Authorized parties may include:

doctors hospitals diagnostic laboratories pharmacies insurance providers approved research institutions

All access is governed by user consent.

9. Research Data Use

With explicit user consent, anonymized or de-identified health data may be used for medical research or analytics. Research datasets will not include personally identifiable information unless explicitly authorized by the user.

10. Prohibited Activities

Users agree not to:

violate applicable laws

engage in fraud or illegal activity

attempt unauthorized system access

interfere with platform security

upload malicious code

impersonate others

misuse confidential information

PranaChain reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

11. Intellectual Property

The Services and all platform technology are owned by PranaChain Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws.

Users may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Services without permission.

User Content

Users retain ownership of content they upload. By submitting content, users grant PranaChain a limited license to store, process, and display such content solely for operating and improving the Services.

13. Service Availability

PranaChain does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Services. Platform functionality may be affected by maintenance, upgrades, network disruptions, or external factors.

Service Modifications

PranaChain reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without liability.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

                    THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." PRANACHAIN MAKES NO WARRANTIES REGARDING: UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY, ACCURACY OF USER CONTENT, SECURITY OF THIRD-PARTY SYSTEMS, OR SUITABILITY FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES.
                

16. Limitation of Liability

                    TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRANACHAIN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR: INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOSS OF DIGITAL ASSETS, LOSS OF DATA, OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCOUNT ACCESS. USERS ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR USE OF THE SERVICES.
                

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PranaChain Inc., its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates from any claims arising from: your violation of these Terms, misuse of the Services, or violation of third-party rights.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Ontario, Canada.

Export Compliance

Users may not use the Services in violation of export control or sanctions laws applicable in Canada or other jurisdictions.

20. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Updated Terms will be posted on https://pranachain.com with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of the Services after changes indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
